"Effective commission tool that is time saving and reduces errors!"
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?
CaptivateIQ has been a great commission tool since we implemented it! Not only is it a time saver and reduces potential errors, but it is an excellent way for me to see both my and my employee's payouts in detail (i.e., line item by line item, the % and the amount). I also love that it shows the commission backlog for past-due invoices, etc. We are also in the process of adding our quarterly quotas to be integrated from Salesforce into CaptivateIQ so we can track our progress in real-time which will be a great feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?
I haven't run into any real/big issues with CaptivateIQ yet. I do think certain reporting abilities and customizations could be built out a little better. It would be nice to visually see some graphs or charts on a user's dashboard when logging in (i.e., month over month, etc.), but overall, I am really impressed with CaptivateIQ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is CaptivateIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?
I think part of this was touched on the previous page of what I like about CaptivateIQ- but overall, it is solving both a time issue and an error/discrepancy issue from a commission capturing, documentation, and reporting standpoint. The ability to quickly see commission backlogs from past-due invoices is also a huge benefit too!

Very customizable for complex comp plans. Has the ability to retain historical changes to plans, roles, quotas, etc. instead of having to worry about who has what information stored on what computer/shared site/etc.

Reporting function has limits that don't allow some of the fields that are in the system(and visible in some reports and used in calculations) to be added to some of the reports or views available to sales reps.
What problems is Xactly Incent solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a complex set of sales compensation plans and previously had to rely on manual spreadsheets to try and compile and provide monthly sales comp results to payroll.
